Jordan Lysenko- Nightmare... in progress
Hey guys,
So I have a large black and white underdrawing of the piece. I am just about to go in and paint it. I plan to do acrylic washes. The piece is really high key right now but i do want the values to remain fairly close to their relationship with each part. I plan to paint the piece blue with red accents around the chest and small dots floating with the spore-like things.

Obviously not finished yet... "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" cover. I'm planning on using a complementary palette of blue and orange in general. The second darker image is my thumbnail.

Surfer Tests
So I went down to California, and while there I attempted the illusive art of surfing... I think for now I am going to stick with making art about surfing..
Here are some tests with the technique Greg showed us, I also did some of the coloring in photoshop to get different over all colors for the skies and what not..

Sheridan Bronson, Assignment 2-- Family Quote cross stitch
Alrighty. So. Uh, here it is. I cross stitched the real thing, just adjusted the lighting and some minor colors in photoshop. This is a quote from my grandma that I decided I needed to do something with. I have several versions of the frame, as shown below. I'm not sure which is best, though I'm leaning toward the first two.
