Alrighty, first of all, a disclaimer: I've set a goal for this class that I need to learn how to better use photoshop. So, uh, be kind, as this is my first EVER school project where I use photoshop (and an unfamiliar program) more extensively than just changing the contrast or color in general. This is a version of the cover for the book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." I guess I'll say more about it tomorrow morning.

  1. Also, I obviously don't get how to blog correctly, 'cause I'm pretty sure I took up an entire page to myself due to how big my image is, even though I shrunk it a ton. Sorry. :/

  2. I like where this is going, perhaps the scrolls could be less skewed?

  3. Don't include handle, maybe brass keyhole or other more integrated design/color, try no line down the middle. Fix wood scroll stuff-- like make the design part of the lion's face by taking out wood texture from the eyes and nose. Also, maybe add just a bit more texture to the nose-- or at least lessen the dark color around it.
